The humble fairy light is an interior favourite. Remember how much happiness they brought you during the festive season? Now times that by 100 and you’ll be able to imagine how magical the room would feel with a sparkling canopy of lights. They work fantastically in rooms with exposed beams and high ceilings, as they highlight venue features. (Converted barns are our favourite location to showcase this.)
Festoon lighting gives off a relaxed glow, the warm bulbs are the perfect addition to a boho or rustic styled wedding. They look gorgeous in an indoor or outdoor environment, and they really come alive when paired with paper lanterns, chiffon drapes, or bunting – so dreamy!
SOME HELPFUL TIPS FROM THE EXPERTS
- Run any design idea past your venue to avoid disappointment!
- We suggest checking how many plug sockets and entry points your chosen venue has, before hiring.
- Let your photographer/videographer know if you are planning on featuring lights. This may affect the equipment they need to use on the big day.
